I guess we can add A-Rod to the list of chemically enhanced stat collectors. Surely this will turn out to be an early experiment that ended when things started becoming public.Does not this tend to reflect what we are seeing throughout our country right now? People doing WHATEVER it takes to enhance their own value. Greed, not integrity, seems to have become the virtue of choice the last several years.
For A-Rods sake I hope this was a very temporary experiment before the league started laying down the law. If not I see more *asterisks* going into the record books. Maybe we need to take some bailout money to construct an annex to Cooperstown for the "enhanced" performers.
I am sick of this junk.

I was disappointed by the fact that one guy I had hoped would be clean could actually be accused to be dirty.Of all the star athletes that one could look up to A-Rod had that squeaky clean image that inspired hope that a clean athlete blessed with immense skill actually existed.Sadly it appears even the highly skilled players feel that tug to enhance themselves in these highly competitive sports. My only wish was that A-Rod could have been the one guy I could have kept the faith in just to prove to myself that honesty above anything else is the one virtue that anyone values above all else.I guess I'll have to just keep looking for that virtue in an athlete so I can restore my faith.
