Spotlight on REDS

The Spotlight series will take a look at the career of each active manager in the league.

REDS (Rick Hill) joined the league in 2005. He had an immediate impact finishing that year in 1st place for the regular season. REDS lives in Orlando, Fla with his wife and family and enjoys a career in the medical profession. REDS is a regular volunteer for medical missions to other countries.

REDS is a fan of the Cincinnati Reds with his favorite all-time player being the great Johnny Bench.

Since joining in 2005 REDS has been a steady competitor with somewhat of a roller-coaster career. His high point was in 2007 when, after finishing 2nd during the regular season, he went on to win the title beating Stars in a classic match up that went right down to the wire. REDS became only the 3rd Champion of Hardball Heaven.

A look at REDS career results show the up and down roller coaster ride that he has endured in the league.

1st to 10th to 2nd to 12th in the regular season. Is 2009 the year for another high point? If so he is going to have to settle some scores with the rest of the league. A look at his H-2-H results reveals REDS has a winning record against only 5 teams and only 3 of them are current active managers! Below is his H-2-H results thus far.

REDS no doubt wants to erase the memory of 2008 which was his worst ever even though he redeemed himself somewhat by winning the lower bracket championship. In spite of his ups and downs REDS has established himself as a force to be reckoned with every season.
